Mr. Sheppard has been with Asset Management Group, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, since 2008. He has served in the capacity of Producer, Senior Advisor and Sales Management, where he is currently putting together a highly talented group of advisors to service the business and professional community in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. 

Terrell has over 15 years of finance and sales experience starting his career in banking as a junior staff auditor then being promoted to senior staff auditor, primarily auditing the internal investment portfolio at one of the largest African-American owned banks in the nation, Industrial Bank, NA. He later established himself as a financial advisor for small businesses and third party marketing to banks at American Express Financial Advisors. He has also worked in the areas of investment and mortgage banking with companies such as Friedman, Billing & Ramsey, Merrill, Scott & Associates, Access Capital Mortgage and aRi Financial Services.

Terrell has received numerous awards for outstanding sales, service and management over the years. He was inducted into the Who’s Who of Young Business Professionals in 2001. One of his most fulfilling accomplishments was obtaining his Black Belt in the martial arts discipline Taekwondo, with his son Brian in 2008.

In May of 2009 Terrell’s wife of over 17 years passed away form a long battle with diabetes; she dedicated her life to teaching young people the importance of education, both in the classroom and life. To honor her life, Terrell launched what he envisioned as a youth ministry organization dedicated to providing the spiritual, intellectual, financial and physical life skills necessary for youth to flourish in this new era; he named it, REACHONE.

Mr. Sheppard received a B.A in Banking and Finance from Bowie State University; he is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planner designation from Kaplan University.
